We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with both manual and automation experience to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies as well as automated and end-to-end (E2E) testing for backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough manual testing of backend systems and APIs
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services
Implement E2E testing strategies for backend workflows
Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for manual and automated testing
Conduct various tests (unit, integration, performance, load) for backend systems
Analyze and troubleshoot backend defects
Report testing progress and results to the team and stakeholders
Enhance backend testing processes for improved efficiency
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, focusing on backend testing
Proven experience in both manual and automated testing of backend systems
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL
Strong understanding of API testing and backend QA processes
Experience with automated testing frameworks for backend systems
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
Experience testing enterprise-grade backend applications
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr Enterprise)
Fluent in English
Based in Ukraine and able to work remotely
